Sunday’s Coming 155

Greetings!
I sit here with Nancy W., to announce the last Sunday’s Coming.  Please, no tears or cheers.  Not to say that Sunday isn’t Coming anymore, because as far as we know, it is.

This is to announce however, that this blog project will now become a weekly email from the church office called, “This week @Briarwood“.

I started Sunday’s Coming three or more years ago around the advent of the 11:30 a.m service (which was at 4:30 p.m. at the time!) to make sure everyone knew the updated worship schedule.

It now seems clear that everyone knows when worship is, and which service they usually attend.  So Sunday’s Coming, I think, has served its purpose of communicating that particular transition at Briarwood.

Starting this week, you will receive a weekly email, “This week @Briarwood“, that still includes what is happening each Sunday, plus other opportunities for service, study and growth.

I will continue to post on my blog, but might focus more on issues, content, comments and material for reflection.   If you would like to be notified of each post, please use the “follow” link on this page.

It has been my pleasure these last 155 messages, sharing in the worship life of Briarwood in this way.

Thank YOU for reading!

With best wishes and in Christ’s service,

Greg Davidson, Ph.D., Pastor

Sunday’s Coming 153

Greetings.
This Sunday we look at the story of Nicodemus and Jesus.  John 3:1-17.  We also welcome to share briefly at both the 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. services the Presbyterian chaplain at McGill, Jill Foster. Please remember in prayer the youth on retreat this weekend, and Micheline H. and Jim W. in hospital.
See you Sunday
