Sunday’s Coming #146

Greetings,

This Sunday is the first Sunday in Advent, New Members’ Sunday, Holy Communion at 11:30 with lunch, and at 1 p.m. the greening of the sanctuary for all ages. There are two services, 10 and 11:30 a.m., with a supervised nursery and children’s faith program.  The text is Isaiah 2: 1-5 where the prophet has a vision of the time when there will be no violence.

Please remember the youth group on Friday night, the new members’ brunch on Saturday, and Micheline H. and Nabih S. Sr., both in hospital.

Wishing everyone a good weekend.

Sunday’s Coming 145

Hello Everyone.  This Sunday is a celebration for Rose B., who is retiring from the Helping Hands next week.   There is also a mystery faith sharer at the 11:30 a.m. service.  Everyone is invited for cake at 11 a.m.

Rev. Harry Kuntz finishes the Autumn Study Series on the Psalms on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. Thank you Harry!

Thank you Danielle, team and snack providers for today’s PED Day Camp at Briarwood.  There are 19 children here between ages 4 and 10, as I speak.  Lots of joy and faith.

Please remember Pea Soup and Planning here tonight.  A chance to plan and pray for where God is leading us as a congregation right now.

Please keep Michelene H. in your prayers too.

Best wishes for now.

See you tonight and, or,

See you Sunday,

Greg
