Sunday’s Coming 121

Greetings,

This Sunday is Bike to Church Sunday.  We do it in conjunction with Earth Day because we believe God has something to say about our planet.

The text is Acts 16: 9-15.  Two services, 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., with Nursery and Kids Faith Program.

Everyone is invited to gather outside by the church sign, with your bike, scooter, bus ticket or walking shoes for a joint picture between services at 11:20 a.m.

Thank you to Charlene G. and Susan D. for coordinating Bike to Church Sunday!

With best wishes.

See you Sunday.

Sunday’s Coming 120

Easter Season Greetings.

As I write this entry on this fine April afternoon, I see snow on the ground and freezing rain coming down to cover it!   Hard to believe it’s the middle of April.  Hard to believe it’s the season of Easter, where resurrection springs eternal.

But it is Easter nonetheless, and every Sunday is a little Easter.  This Sunday we continue with the book of Acts, 9: 19b-31, and the rest of the story of Saul’s new life.

Two services.  10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. with Nursery and Kids Faith program at both.

This Sunday we welcome to Briarwood the new director of Action Réfugiés Montréal, Mr. Paul Clarke.  Paul will give a short presentation during the 10 a.m. service and share part of his journey of faith and call to this ministry during the 11:30 a.m. Faith Sharing.

This Friday and Saturday night a Briarwood all are invited to a concert by Spectrum, directed by our own Marilyn S., with Nancy W. on piano.

Bike to Church Sunday is April 21st!

With all good wishes,

Greg
